Protect the King codes (September 2026) — Spend some Gold on your next upgrade
Protect the King is a Roblox tower defense RPG where Gold and Silver fuel equipment upgrades. This guide lists September 2026 active codes — FREEGOLD for 50 Gold and GOLD30 for 30 Gold — plus expired codes like HARBINGER…
What the game is and why it stands out
Protect the King is a Roblox experience that blends tower defense with old-school RPG elements. Waves of monsters charge at the castle gates, and your job is to split your attention across every spawn spot so not a single mob slips through. Miss a wave in the later levels, and you'll pay for it dearly.
Gold and Silver are the currencies that keep your run alive — you'll spend them upgrading equipment or rolling for better stats. Upgrades can get pricey, which is exactly why free Gold from codes matters. And despite being built on Roblox, the presentation is polished enough that if it weren't for the characters' faces, you'd hardly guess it's a Roblox game at all.
Active codes ( free Gold, ready to use now)
- FREEGOLD – 50 Gold
- GOLD30 – 30 Gold
That's 80 Gold total between the two, enough to take some pressure off your next equipment upgrade.
Expired codes ( these no longer work)
- HARBINGER
- DOMTHESLAYER
- XMAS25
The XMAS25 code's retirement is a good reminder that holiday and event codes tend to have the shortest lifespans.
How to redeem ( three taps and you're done)
- Tap the Code button on the top side of the screen.
- Type in your code.
- Hit the Redeem button.
One thing to keep in mind
Codes in Protect the King expire quickly — the expired list above proves it. Redeem the active ones as soon as you can, and check back regularly for new drops.
If you're splitting your time between Roblox titles, freebies are also available elsewhere: Drag Drive Simulator codes and Superstar Baseball codes are worth grabbing too.
