GTA 6 merchandise lineup features a $400 Collector's Edition alongside apparel, stickers, a lighter, and other items
With GTA 6 launching Nov. 19, a datamine from Rockstar's payment provider Xsolla revealed dozens of upcoming merchandise SKUs, including T-shirts, hats, a Zippo lighter and sticker packs. Speculation grew around a possib…
The Origin: A Datamine Tips Off the Merchandise Push
With Grand Theft Auto 6's release under two months away, the marketing machine is running at full speed. Earlier this week, a massive Vice City sign appeared atop an NBA arena in Miami, and now a fresh datamine has revealed what Rockstar Games plans to sell fans who want to keep grinding outside the game.
The discovery surfaced on GTAForums, and the source is Xsolla — the digital payment system used on Rockstar's website — which exposed a few dozen SKUs of merchandise set to be listed on the Rockstar store. The haul includes the expected fare: several T-shirt designs and hats bearing GTA 6 logos, plus in-game brand marks like Burger Shot. Among the standouts are a GTA-themed Zippo lighter, a money clip, a tote bag, and a holographic sticker pack.
One listing, though, set the community buzzing: "GTA VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection." Fans immediately speculated it could be a big-box Collector's Edition of the game — though skeptics (including the original spotter) read it as more likely a bundle of the merch items themselves.
Why It Matters: A Digital-Only Release Leaves a Gap
There's context worth keeping in mind here. GTA 6 is a contentious release for some players because it's digital-only and won't ship on disc, at least not at launch. A Collector's Edition with real physical items could soften that blow — especially if it included the game itself.
The Latest: Rockstar Confirms the Vice City Collection
On September 24, the speculation was settled. Rockstar Games officially announced the collection as a "collectible set featuring all the essentials for a good time, inspired by Leonida's hit TV show, Macca the Gator, while supplies last."
Here's everything packed into the $400 price tag:
- 6-inch figure of Macca the Gator with stash compartment
- Matte black GTA 6 Oakley® Frogskins™ sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses
- New Era® 9FORTY A-Frame snapback hat with Vice City Leonida embellishments
- Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
- Vice City swizzle spoon
- Vice City razor blade keychain
- Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a custom metal tin
- Premium stickers in a stash bag
- Double-sided souvenir poster showcasing the full Leonida landscape
Notably absent: a game disc.
Where Things Stand
The merchandise mystery is solved, but the skepticism proved partly warranted — the Vice City Collection is a premium collectible set, not a game bundle, meaning digital-only buyers still won't get a physical copy this way. Expect a steady stream of official GTA 6 news through October and early November before the game finally launches on Nov. 19.
