That's exactly what happens during the Haunting Elegance Star Path, where one duty asks you to cook Whimsical Pies.

The wording is deliberately tricky: you might assume any pie will do. It won't. Only the Whimsical Pie counts toward the task, so you'll need the exact recipe and exact ingredients.

The Whimsical Pie Recipe

The Whimsical Pie is a three-star dessert, which by the game's rules means precisely three ingredients:

• Dreamlight Fruit — Picked from Dreamlight Trees. These trees unlock through your friendship with Simba. The first tree becomes available at friendship level 7, and you'll need to reach level 10 to unlock the other three. If you haven't invested in Simba's friendship yet, this is your first bottleneck.
• Wheat — Grow it from Wheat Seeds, sold at Goofy's Peaceful Meadow Stall for 1 Star Coin. Goofy also occasionally sells already-grown Wheat for 3 Star Coins. If you own the A Rift in Time DLC, both Wheat Seeds and grown Wheat are also available at the Ancient's Landing Stall.
• Butter — Bought from the pantry at either in-valley restaurant: Tiana's Palace or Chez Remy, at a cost of 190 Star Coins.

Combine the three at any cooking station to produce one Whimsical Pie.

What the Duty Actually Requires

The Haunting Elegance duty asks you to make a total of three Whimsical Pies, which adds up to:

• 3 Dreamlight Fruit
• 3 Wheat
• 3 Butter

A practical tip: since Dreamlight Fruit availability depends on how many Dreamlight Trees you've unlocked, players still early in Simba's friendship track may need to wait between harvests. Plan ahead before accepting the duty.

The Payoff and What to Do Next

Completing the duty earns you 10 Tokens to spend in the Star Path event. It's a modest reward, but every Token counts if you're aiming to claim all the event's featured rewards.

If you want to keep stacking Tokens, the Haunting Elegance Star Path includes other duties worth tackling next, such as helping the Pumpkin King, collecting wood materials, mining for square gems, and selling green veggies.
