Two More September 2026 PS Plus Extra Games Now Available for Download

PS Plus Extra subscribers in the UK, USA, and Japan are getting a small bonus today, with two additional PS5 and PS4 titles added to their membership. The extra drop is part of Sony's ongoing trial with how it spreads out its monthly game releases in these specific regions.

What's New Today

As of 22nd September, Ball X Pit and Slitterhead are now available to download for PS Plus Extra members across those three territories. The timing works out well for anyone who burned through last week's additions, giving players something fresh to jump into mid-month rather than waiting for a single big dump of titles.

It's worth noting that this staggered rollout only applies to the UK, USA, and Japan. Members everywhere else already received the complete September 2026 lineup last week, so players in other regions have had both games for a while now. Sony appears to be using these markets to test different approaches to how and when Extra titles go live.

What's Still Coming This Month

There's one more wave left on the calendar for these regions. On 29th September 2026, three more games join PS Plus Extra:

• Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (PS5, PS4)
• Dungeons of Hinterberg (PS5)
• Sniper Elite: Resistance (PS5, PS4)

That gives members a solid mix to close out the month: a retro-inspired action game from the Ninja Gaiden universe, a charming adventure RPG set in the Austrian Alps, and a stealth-focused sniper entry from Rebellion.

What Happens Next
