Pokémon TCG Pocket launches limited-time Deluxe Pack: Mega expansion

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is launching a limited-time event called Deluxe Pack: Mega, running from September 30th to October 29th. It repackages cards from several earlier expansions into one premium pack, with a guaranteed high-rarity card in every pull. For players who missed out on past sets, or lapsed players looking for a reason to return, this is the window to catch up.

How the event works

Every Deluxe Pack: Mega contains four cards drawn from past expansions, spanning Mega Rising through to Ruler of the Skies. Cards that were previously exclusive to those individual packs will all appear in the pool here.

The headline detail: one of the four cards in each pack is guaranteed to be four-star rarity or higher. In a game where chase cards normally demand dozens of openings, a floor on pull quality changes the math for anyone chasing a specific legendary or competitive staple.

What else is changing

The Deluxe Pack: Mega coincides with other significant updates to Pokemon TCG Pocket, including the introduction of a community deck feature — and, alongside the additions, the retirement of some existing features. Players should check the official site for the full rundown of what is coming and going before the event begins.

Why it matters

For longtime players, this is essentially a second chance at cards they may have skipped or failed to pull during the original runs of Mega Rising and Ruler of the Skies. For newer players, combining the event with the community deck feature should make assembling a competitive deck considerably easier than grinding individual expansions.

Mark the end date — October 29th — because after that, the consolidated pool closes and those cards return to their original, harder-to-reach packs.
