Silent Hill Townfall: CEG Security Keypad Code Guide

Finding the CEG Security keypad code in Part 4 of Silent Hill: Townfall should be straightforward, but plenty of players get thrown off track by the building's many locked black boxes and bits of stray information. With so much to examine on the ground floor of the CEG HQ, it's easy to chase the wrong lead. This guide walks you through the puzzle step by step so you can get into the Security room without the headache.

Where the Real Clue Is

The CEG HQ is full of distractions — most notoriously, the locked black cases sitting in the Auditorium. Ignore them for now. The actual clue you need for the Security keypad is a drawing on the whiteboard inside the Maintenance room.

Solving the Keypad

The whiteboard sketch tells you two things: the code begins with the number 4, and from there you follow the directional arrows shown in the drawing, entering the remaining digits on the keypad in the directions indicated. Work through the arrows one by one and you'll land on the full code:

Enter 4 first, then trace the arrow pattern on the whiteboard to confirm the rest before punching it in. If it doesn't work, recheck the drawing — it's easy to flip a direction when reading it under pressure.

What to Do Inside Security

Once the door opens, the Security room holds a few useful things:

• A save phone, so make use of it before moving on
• The second half of the Case Codes document — you'll need this to crack Richard's case code
• A pair of PCs you can interact with

With the room cleared, your next objectives are opening Richard's case and then heading back to Security to print out an Access Card.
