Pawprint Studios has officially launched Aniimo, its creature-collecting RPG, in full release on iOS and Android. With the genre enjoying a major wave of popularity since Palworld arrived, Aniimo arrives as one of the more intriguing new entries in the space, sitting alongside titles like Honkai: Nexus Anima.
Explore the World of Idyll
Aniimo takes place in Idyll, a sprawling world populated by mysterious creatures known as Aniimo. Players travel across a range of distinct biomes, each hiding its own secrets to uncover. The game's standout feature is Twining, a mechanic that lets you transform directly into one of your chosen Aniimo, using their unique abilities to traverse the environment. It's a twist on the usual catch-and-battle formula, and one that gives exploration a genuinely different feel as you shift shapes to cross terrain and solve the world's puzzles.
Your RV Home on Wheels
One of the additions that comes with the full release is the RV, which acts as your mobile home base. You can drive it across the map, or park it somewhere scenic, put down roots, grow crops, and settle into a slower-paced farming life whenever you want a break from adventuring.
Beyond solo exploration, Aniimo also offers multiplayer options: you can battle rival players or team up with them for egg hunts, with the floating metropolis hovering above the world serving as a hub to meet up.
A Crowded Genre
Aniimo bills itself as a true next-generation creature-collecting experience, and the competition is undeniably fierce. Palworld and other recent releases have raised expectations for what the genre can offer, but Aniimo's polished visuals and mix of exploration, transformation, and cozy base-building could give Pawprint Studios a genuine foothold in the market.
If you're already diving in, it's worth grabbing the latest Aniimo codes, which hand out free Glimmer and other useful resources to give your journey a head start. Aniimo is available to download now on iOS and Android.
