Monopoly Go launches KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters crossover event

Halloween is creeping closer, and Monopoly Go! is marking the occasion in a big way. Starting September 23rd, the mobile board game kicks off its Monster Mash season, a major crossover event that brings together two huge names: KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters. It's one of the most ambitious seasonal events the game has hosted so far.

What's in the Monster Mash season?

The season runs from September 23rd through November 25th, and it opens with the arrival of HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys, and other familiar characters from KPop Demon Hunters. Players can dive into a variety of minigames, catch a live HUNTR/X concert experience, and browse the Blocks Boutique, which will be stocked with themed in-game merchandise to collect.

The Ghostbusters side of the event is just as substantial. You'll be able to visit the team's iconic firehouse and hunt down hidden treasures there. Scattered across the board, there are treasures from both hit series to discover as you make your way around.

A pop-culture-packed board

Beyond the two headline crossovers, the Halloween season brings plenty more to the table. As you journey around the board, you can fill up your Luck-O'-Lantern, and if you're feeling competitive, Trick or Treat dice battles let you go head-to-head against friends.

The event also introduces new community-made tokens and styles, giving players fresh ways to customize their game. With everything bundled together, Monopoly Go!'s Monster Mash season is shaping up to be one of the most jam-packed events the game has run to date.
