BanG Dream! Our Notes launches on iOS and Android with five bands and a fresh rhythm system

The latest entry in the BanG Dream! franchise is finally here. BanG Dream! Our Notes has officially launched on mobile, bringing five bands, a story-heavy campaign, and a fresh multiplayer rhythm mode to iOS and Android devices. For players who have been waiting to dive into the world of MyGO!!!!! and its sister groups, the wait is over — and yes, counting those five exclamation marks never gets easier.

Original Stories Take Center Stage

This installment puts narrative front and center. MyGO!!!!!, Ave Mujica, and Mugendai MewType all get their anime arcs retold, but from a game-exclusive angle, with additional episodes that continue past the point where the TV shows ended. That means even fans who watched every broadcast have new material to dig into.

The remaining two groups, Millsage and Ikka Dumb Rock!, start entirely from scratch with fully original stories. Across all five bands, that adds up to 25 characters, all brought to life through what the game calls its Cinematic Story System. Characters move and emote naturally during scenes, and select moments are elevated with fully animated sequences featuring brand-new cuts. Combining rhythm gameplay with strong storytelling has become a winning formula in mobile games lately, and Our Notes is clearly leaning into it.

Gekiso Live Brings Five-Player Battles

On the gameplay side, the headline feature is Gekiso Live. When pre-registration first opened, the mode drew comparisons to Guitar Hero — more so than anything the series had previously attempted — and first impressions hold up. Special Gekiso sections interrupt songs mid-performance, and how well they play out depends on your combos and timing.

Better still, up to five players can team up and play these sections together in real time, adding a genuinely social edge to the rhythm action.

A Tracklist Blending Originals and Covers

The song list draws from both sides of the franchise. Anime staples like Mayoiuta and a MyGO!!!!! rendition of Haruhikage sit alongside Ave Mujica's KiLLKiSS, Mugen My World from Mugendai MewType, Kishi Kaisen from Millsage, and Homie's Tie!! from Ikka Dumb Rock!.

More covers are planned after launch, and there's a nice perk for diehard fans: the newest MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica tracks will debut in-game before releasing anywhere else.
