Where Winds Meet previews a chaotic battlefield next month ahead of its first anniversary celebration, and players are invited.

Background: A New Region Was Teased Two Weeks Ago

NetEase Games and Everstone Studio teased a new region two weeks ago. That region is Qingzhou, now available for players to explore in the Wuxia RPG. The tease established the first point on the timeline: a new area was previewed before it arrived in the game.

Development: Qingzhou Is Presented as a Welcoming Region in the Jianghu

Qingzhou is dubbed "the most welcoming region in the Jianghu." The description highlights friendly locals who gladly lend a hand to lost wanderers. That gives the region a clear identity: it is not only a place to visit, but a place where people in the setting are expected to help travelers.

The update also names the Sect known as the Inkbound Order. This group values peaceful resolutions to conflict, with the pen described as mightier than the sword. That detail separates Qingzhou from a purely combat-focused region by placing non-violent dispute resolution at the center of its theme.

Latest Progress: Isle of Penglai Opened Yesterday

The Isle of Penglai opened yesterday, adding another new area to the same period of rollout. With Qingzhou now available and Penglai newly opened, players have a lot to unpack before the month ends.

Current Stage: Early Rollout Before Month End

The rollout is in its early phase. Two weeks passed from the tease to Qingzhou's arrival, and the Isle of Penglai opened yesterday. The end of the month is the next time marker mentioned for exploring the new content.
