Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Has Surprisingly Quietly Launched on Switch 2

Background: A Quiet Pattern Across the Trilogy Bundle

The previous two games in the "Survivor" trilogy appeared on Switch 2 with little announcement, making this latest surprise launch part of a low-key pattern for the trilogy bundle. Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition now arrives on Switch 2 as a surprise release.

Development: The Final Entry Arrives With Additional Challenge Tomb Content

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition closes out the Tomb Raider trilogy. Aspyr again brings the release to players, and the package includes the original release's seven Challenge Tombs from downloadable content. The bundle is priced at $39.99.

Spoiler warning: the game is described only as the trilogy's final chapter; no story details are included.

Latest Progress: Launch Discount Runs Until 4th November

For buyers who want to get in quickly, the developer is taking 10% off the full price on the eShop until 4th November. The discount applies to the $39.99 bundle, which remains built around the Definitive Edition and its seven Challenge Tombs.

Current Stage: The Trilogy Bundle Is Now Complete on Switch 2

With the first two entries already on Switch 2 and the final Definitive Edition now released, the trilogy bundle has moved from a staggered rollout to a completed launch cycle. The full report is available on nintendolife.com.
