Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Hits 100,000 Sales Milestone and Crosses Over into Tetris 99

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has arrived exclusively on the Switch 2 as the first major release for the Fire Emblem franchise on the console, and the newly-released game has already reached a major sales milestone in its home region. Within just a week of release, it passed 100,000 sales.

To celebrate the launch, Nintendo's battle royale Tetris 99 is hosting a special in-game event. During the 57th Maximum Cup, players who earn 100 points will unlock a unique theme featuring special art, music and Tetrimino designs.

The game's size has also drawn guide coverage, with one article noting that Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is too massive for How Long To Beat to have any useful results. That coverage includes advice on late-game preparation and collectibles. Once players reach Part 3, yuna mei is needed to rebuild one of the destroyed temples, and completing side quests during the last arc is described as the best way to prepare units for the final battle, because players can level up and collect powerful rewards.

Other collectible hunting can take players to the desert of Nysiades, one of the most challenging areas on the map, where they can find sandworm meat. If players have enough money, there is another method to obtain this rare material, though it is not available for every Flame Lord.

Although Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has no fishing mechanic or mini-game, there are still plenty of fish to find, and collecting them is worth the time. Fish are found in Search spots on the map, and they can be used for cooking, quests and other purposes. Some even help unlock new classes.

Quest coverage also includes "Legacy of a Legendary Sculptor," which tasks players with deciphering four vague clues in a scavenger hunt around the empire. The goal is to track down four statues of four of Dagda's goddesses, hidden in places relevant to their lives and worship, mostly.
