Where to find the Parking Garage key in Control Resonant

Control Resonant: How to Get the Parking Garage Key in the West Incursion Zone

Control Resonant gates some of its biggest rewards behind enormous boss encounters known as Resonants. Defeating these titans is how you unlock additional traversal abilities and reshape the world around you, which makes them essential targets for anyone hoping to see everything the game has to offer. The catch? Getting to them isn't always straightforward.

That's certainly true of the Resonant waiting in the West Incursion Zone. Before you can reach its location, you'll need to track down a specific item: the parking garage key. Without it, the path forward stays firmly blocked.

Why the Key Matters

The parking garage acts as a chokepoint on the route to the West Incursion Zone's boss. Like many of the game's locked doors, it can't be bypassed with combat skill or clever platforming — you simply need the key. And unlike some quest items, this one isn't handed to you directly or marked with a convenient waypoint, which is why so many players find themselves wandering the area without a clear lead.

Tracking It Down

Finding the parking garage key is the tricky part of this sequence. The game doesn't make the location obvious, so expect to do some exploring around the zone before you stumble across it. Keep an eye on your surroundings as you push through the area — the key won't always be where you first expect it to be.

Once you have it in hand, you're free to open the garage and continue toward the Resonant itself. From there, the challenge shifts from exploration to the boss fight proper.

What Comes Next

With the key collected and the garage unlocked, your next stop is the Resonant encounter in the West Incursion Zone. Beating it should grant you new traversal options and further your ability to alter the game's world, so it's worth the detour. Take your time preparing before you head in — these fights are built to test everything you've learned so far.
