How to Solve the Projector Puzzle in Silent Hill Townfall

The projector puzzle in Silent Hill Townfall's Part 5 runs across the whole chapter. Playing as Richard, you need to track down three missing projector parts — the Projector Bulb, Projector Lens, and Projector Slides — inside CEG HQ, then arrange the slides in the correct order to reconstruct a pivotal meeting. Miss one step and the objective stalls, so this guide lays out every location and the final slide order in sequence.

What You Need Before Starting

This walkthrough assumes you've already found the projector in the CEG HQ Boardroom and picked up the Access Card Level 3/4, which unlocks the areas covered below. The puzzle breaks down into four stages:

1. Collect the Projector Bulb
2. Collect the Projector Lens
3. Collect the Projector Slides
4. Arrange the slides in the correct order

Finding the Projector Bulb

The bulb sits in the Media Department Storeroom on the Fourth Floor. From Public Relations on the Third Floor, take the stairwell up to the Media Department. Head to the office on the west side, where you'll find the CEG Storeroom Key on one of Richard's bodies. Use it to unlock the Storeroom — the Projector Bulb is inside the General Storage locker, alongside the CEG Checkout Sheet.

Finding the Projector Lens

That CEG Checkout Sheet is your next lead: it reveals the Projector Lens was loaned to someone named F. Sloan in Finance, on the Third Floor. The sheet also gives you the keypad code for Finance — 2709.

Return to the Third Floor, then enter Finance using your Access Card plus the code 2709. Inside, head to the room marked 'CFO' on your map. The Projector Lens is in the desk drawer.

With both the Lens and Bulb in hand, return to the Boardroom on the Fifth Floor and insert them into the projector. The room then transforms — every meeting attendee appears as a Richard corpse. One holds the CEG Maintenance Key, and the projector screen displays the Meeting Agenda.

Finding the Projector Slides

Use the CEG Maintenance Key to unlock the Maintenance room to the right of the Boardroom. A network of ladders here connects down to the Second Floor, and it's also handy for looting every floor afterward.

To reach the slides:

1. Take the Maintenance ladders down to the Second Floor.
2. Enter Operations, then leave through the west exit.
3. Take the stairwell down to the First Floor.
4. Go left into IT, then exit IT via the east exit.
5. Use the stairwell in the bottom-right corner of your map to reach the Mezzanine.
6. Enter the Gallery Meeting Room — the Projector Slides are on the desk.

Head back up to the Boardroom the same way.

The Correct Slide Order

The final step is inserting the slides in the order set by the Meeting Agenda, matching each agenda item to its slide. Tip: you can hold LB on controller or LCtrl on PC to inspect each slide closely, and holding them up against the projector screen makes them easier to read.

Here's the full correct order:

• Recent Headlines = Slide D
• External Demonstrations = Slide F
• Company Hierarchy = Slide B
• Financial Projections = Slide C
• Public Inquiry = Slide E
• Counter Arguments = Slide A

Input the slides in that order and a cutscene plays out the meeting itself — which concerns Richard's future at CEG. It also reveals that Simon was Richard's star witness, and you'll receive the CEO Access Card as a reward.

With the projector puzzle solved and the CEO Access Card unlocked, Part 5's central mystery moves forward, and you're free to use the Maintenance ladders to sweep CEG HQ for any remaining supplies before pushing on through St. Amelia.
