Main Objectives in Part 1 Simon

Here's the full list of goals for this chapter, followed by step-by-step solutions:

  1. Enter 2A West Shore Lane.
  2. Solve the Power Card Credit puzzle.
  3. Solve the Organ Transport Box puzzle.
  4. Go to the Shorefront Family Clinic.
  5. Unlock Reception.
  6. Enter the Pharmacy.
  7. Open the Pharmacy locker.
  8. Go to Jessica's house on Farrow Street.
  9. Solve the weighing scales puzzle in the Clinic.

1. Enter 2A West Shore Lane

After the prologue's closing cutscene, check your CRTV. A Signal is available that reveals your next destination: a house on West Shore Lane.

Take the alleyway to the left of the Fergusons store and look right — that's the house from the signal. Go inside.

In the hallway, a phone lets you save your game. While exploring, keep an eye out for these items:

  • Living room: a Hand Delivered Letter and an unpowered PC.
  • Kitchen: a Human Organ Transport Box requiring two three-digit codes (unsolvable for now) and, in the drawer, a Flashlight with no batteries.
  • Upstairs: Gauze in the bathroom cabinet, AA Batteries in the spare room, and the Organ Transplant Card document in the en-suite — it notes the box's Secure Lock Codes arrive by email.

Combine the Flashlight and AA Batteries in your inventory, then use the small door in the downstairs hallway. Inside is a Power Card machine and the Power Card Credit Guide document, which will eventually restore power to the house. Both the machine and the Organ Transport Box must wait. Once you've swept the house — it belongs to Zoe — leave and follow the alley back to Main Street.

2. Solve the Power Card Credit puzzle

After the cutscene, open your map: the Newsagents is now circled, but the front door is locked. Loop around the back via The Mariner — watch for the enemy patrolling there — and enter through the rear door.

Grab the Plank and the Newsagents Note by the front desk, then open the till for the Prepaid Power Card.

Before heading back, exit through the front door and go left. At the end of the road is Video Star, where Strange Postcard 1 sits on the front desk. That's everything here, so return to Zoe's house.

At the Power Card machine under the stairs:

  1. Insert the Electricard into the card slot.
  2. Use Button A to cycle to the Credit Card option.
  3. Press Button B to apply credit.
  4. Push the Master Power Switch to restore the power.

3. Solve the Organ Transport Box puzzle

With electricity flowing, head to the lounge PC and read Zoe's emails. The message titled 'For Attending Surgeon' explains that the box's codes are set using the first and last three digits of the corresponding ET code.

Open your inventory and check the Organ Transplant Card. Two ET codes appear here; you want the second: 956234692133. The first three digits are 956, the last three are 133. Enter these into the two locks on the kitchen box.

Inside you'll find Zoe's Lanyard for her job at the Shorefront Family Clinic. Tune your CRTV to the next Signal and it'll point you straight there.

4. Go to the Shorefront Family Clinic

Use Zoe's Lanyard to enter the Clinic — an enemy lurks outside, so be ready to sneak past.

Loot these offices before reaching Zoe's:

  • Dr Stevenson's office: Gauze and the Note on Patient Records document.
  • Dr Harford's office: Gauze and an Empty IV Bag.
  • B Mcmillan's office: IV Fluid (combine with the Empty IV Bag for a revive).

In Zoe's office sits the weighing scales puzzle (not solvable yet), plus her Resignation Letter, a Scalpel in the drawer, and the Clinic Post-It Note revealing the Reception code: 2896.

The PC holds two useful emails: one from Jessica giving her address as 21 Farrow Street, north of the park, and one from reception about a voice message waiting for Zoe.

5. Unlock Reception

Enter 2896 on the Reception keypad. Save at the phone inside, then play the answer machine message: a prescription Zoe wrote in the Pharmacy doesn't look right, and staff want her to review it. Also grab the Nurse's Rounds Form here.

6. Enter the Pharmacy

The Pharmacy is locked, but your Scalpel opens it. Inside you'll find a save phone, a radio behind the main desk, a First Aid Kit in the storage cupboard, and a locker needing a four-digit code. Tune the CRTV to the radio — the Signal highlights posters around the Pharmacy that hide the code.

7. Open the Pharmacy locker

Each poster in the Signal points to a number:

  • The hand-washing poster: count the visible fingers — 6.
  • The 'prescription drugs and you' poster: it says 5.
  • The consultation service poster: the scale points to 3.
  • The pills poster about family risk: the blister pack holds 9 pills.

Enter them in the order shown during the Signal: 6539.

The locker contains the Prescription Dosage Error Note, revealing Mr. Stewart's dosage was far above his previous amount and likely wrong. Keep it handy — you'll need it soon. Save, then set off for Jessica's house.

8. Go to Jessica's house on Farrow Street

Use the Scalpel again to open the gate into St. Amelia Park. Go left and south through the wall gap to grab Strange Postcard 2 beside the large black rubbish bin, then head northwest to reach Farrow Street.

The final gate along the back alley is locked, so enter the last garden on the right and squeeze past the shed. A phone box on your left offers a save point, and at the road's end stands a tall, foreboding wall with Strange Postcard 3 stuck to it.

Jessica's house at No. 21 is locked, but No. 16 is open. Skip Flat 0/1 for now and head up to Flat 1/2:

  • Feeling Sick Note — bedroom.
  • Strange Postcard 4 — bedroom floor at the foot of the bed.
  • 21 Farrow St. Back Door Key — dresser in the lounge.
  • Gauze — bathroom cabinet.

Down in Flat 0/1, grab the First Aid Kit and note the locked blue lockbox — you'll return later.

Use the Back Door Key on Jessica's rear entrance, collecting a Plank from a wheelbarrow in the gardens along the way. Inside:

  • Hallway: save phone and an answer machine message from Zoe to Jess.
  • Kitchen: Lockbox Key and the Task Assignment document.
  • Lounge: Jess' Legal Advice document.
  • Bedroom: Broken Stethoscope on the bed.
  • Bathroom: Gauze.

Finally, return to the blue lockbox in No. 16 Flat 0/1 and open it with the Lockbox Key to get an Empty IV Bag and IV Fluid.

9. Solve the weighing scales puzzle in the Clinic

Back in Zoe's office, place three of her belongings on the scales in the order her self-criticisms appear in the Resignation Letter:

  1. 'I didn't listen closely enough.' — Broken Stethoscope on the first scale.
  2. 'I made mistakes and couldn't focus on the tasks at hand.' — Prescription Dosage Error on the middle scale.
  3. 'I'm not fit to work in this role any longer.' — Zoe's Lanyard on the third scale.

Solve it correctly and a cutscene plays: Simon examines his CRTV, and you soon take control of an entirely different character…
