Genshin Impact Vodyanitsa abilities and Constellations overview

Vodyanitsa has arrived in Genshin Impact, and understanding her abilities and Constellations is key to getting the most out of her. The 5-Star Hydro catalyst user debuted during version 7.1, and while her Banner is limited-time, she is expected to return in future versions. Vodyanitsa Kit Overview

Vodyanitsa is a 5-Star Hydro character wielding a catalyst. All percentages below are based on Level 1 Skills.

Vodyanitsa Passives

Passive one – Echoes Over the Frozen Lake: Pressing and holding the Elemental Skill button while Vodyanitsa is out of combat lets her reveal her true Water Imp form and swim for up to 10 seconds, consuming Stamina. As a Water Imp, she can also travel across the water's surface. She returns to normal when you press the Elemental Skill button again, when the duration expires, or when her Stamina runs out. She swims faster in this form, but burns through Stamina more quickly.

Passive two – The Last Djeguako Songstress: Using the Elemental Skill "Rechitativ: Sonorous Dawn" converts any Stellar Vortex on the field into a Wandering Vortex. If a nearby party member triggers a Stellar Swirl reaction while Song of Ages Past is active, a Wandering Vortex forms instead of a Stellar Vortex. Creating or detonating a Wandering Vortex lowers nearby enemies' Anemo resistance by 35% for six seconds. Party members who enter the Radiance: Stellar Swirl state while Song of Ages Past is active also have that state extended by four seconds.

Passive three – Dirge of the Fandyr: Using "Rechitativ: Sonorous Dawn" grants Vodyanitsa 25 stacks of Lead Vocal and 10 stacks of Chorus. Both effects last 30 seconds, and using the Elemental Skill refreshes the stack counts.

Passive four – Heartless Siren Song: As the prima donna of the Korolevskiy Troupe, Vodyanitsa sings in her own voice rather than playing an instrument.

Normal Attack – Psyshkhwe Arietta

Tapping the normal attack button delivers up to four consecutive Hydro strikes. Holding it instead consumes Stamina to throw a water ball forward, dealing Hydro damage. Her plunging attack works like most others: she dives from mid-air and hits the ground, dealing AOE Hydro damage on impact while also damaging enemies along the way.

Elemental Skill – Rechitativ: Sonorous Dawn

Vodyanitsa reveals her true Water Imp form, dealing AOE Hydro damage and gaining the Song of Ages Past effect. During this state, she summons the ancient Horn of Spring's Call, which periodically dashes toward an opponent to attack for Hydro damage. Enemies hit by either type of damage have their Hydro and Cryo resistance reduced. While Song of Ages Past is active, the on-field character also gains interruption resistance and periodically restores HP scaled to Vodyanitsa's max HP.

Elemental Burst – Sink With Thee

Vodyanitsa leads a song of the Water Imps that draws listeners toward their doom, dealing AOE Hydro damage. If used while Song of Ages Past is active, the damage is increased even further.

All Vodyanitsa Constellations

Pulling duplicate copies of Vodyanitsa on her Banner grants her Stella Fortuna, the material used to unlock Constellation levels. Each Constellation either strengthens an existing Talent or improves a Passive ability.

• Waters in Full Splendor (C1): Each time Vodyanitsa triggers the healing effect of Song of Ages Past, all nearby party members' attack increases by 1% of her max HP for five seconds.

• Echoes That Pierce the Snow (C2): When the Horn of Spring's Call strikes an opponent, Vodyanitsa gains the "Two Voices in Black and White" effect, boosting the active character's Crit Damage from Hydro and Cryo damage by 50% for five seconds. If a Wandering Vortex is on the field, or within five seconds of one detonating, the effect instead raises the active character's Crit Damage from Stellar Swirl reaction damage by 60% for five seconds. This Constellation also enhances "Rechitativ: Sonorous Dawn," extending the Song of Ages Past duration by nine seconds.

• Song Lingering on a Spring Morning (C3): Raises the Elemental Skill level by three, up to a maximum of 15.

• Melancholic Voice Upon the Gentle Waters (C4): When Vodyanitsa triggers the Song of Ages Past healing, an extra effect applies based on the healed character's HP. If that character is below 40% HP, the healing is increased by 50%. If they are at 40% HP or higher, Vodyanitsa's max HP increases by 20% for six seconds, stacking up to three times with each stack's duration tracked separately.

• Together, Down Into the Deep (C5): Raises the Elemental Burst level by three, up to a maximum of 15.

• Neverending Song of Revelry (C6): Enhances C2: "Two Voices in Black and White" now applies to all nearby party members. Additionally, while Song of Ages Past is active, nearby party members deal 30% increased Stellar Swirl reaction damage and 60% increased Hydro and Cryo damage.
