Silent Hill Townfall organ transport box codes and puzzle guide

The Organ Transport Box puzzle in Part 1 of Silent Hill Townfall will feel familiar if you've played much survival horror — games in this genre have a long history of using organ-cooling containers as puzzle material. Here, you'll need to track down clues and uncover two numeric codes to get the box open.

What You Need to Do First

Before you can tackle the Organ Transport Box, you'll need to complete the Power Card Credit puzzle, which brings the electricity back to Zoe's house. This puzzle gates the next step, so make sure it's done before moving on.

Finding the Clue in Zoe's Emails

With the power restored, head to the lounge and use the PC there. Check Zoe's emails — the message titled "For Attending Surgeon" holds the key detail: the Organ Transplant Box's codes are set using the first and last three digits of the corresponding ET code.

Deciphering the ET Code

Next, pull up the Organ Transplant Card in your inventory. You'll see two ET codes listed on the document, but the one you need is the second: 956234692133.

From that code, take the first three digits — 956 — and the last three digits — 133. Enter these into the two numerical locks on the Organ Transport Box, which you'll find in the kitchen, and it will open.

What's Inside the Box

Once unlocked, you'll recover Zoe's Lanyard from her job at the Shorefront Family Clinic. With that in hand, use your CRTV to tune into the Signal — it will display the Clinic and Zoe's office inside, opening up the next area of the story.
