Silent Hill Townfall: how to solve the medication delivery rate puzzle

After tracking down medications scattered around the hospital in Part 3 of Silent Hill: Townfall, your next job is to actually give them to the patient. It's not as simple as attaching an IV drip and walking away — you first have to figure out the correct delivery rates for each drug.

Here's how to crack the medication delivery rate puzzle so you can get out of the Surgery quickly.

Setting the delivery rates

With a cocktail of meds collected from around the hospital, you'll need to use the infusion equipment in the room to administer them to the patient. The catch: before you can dose them, you have to set the right delivery rate on the infusion equipment based on the patient's Body Mass.

To do this, you'll need two pieces of information: the Medication Dosage Table, which you can find on the PC, and the patient's Body Mass, written on the whiteboard — 88kg.

Cross-referencing the dosage table with the patient's weight of 88kg gives you the correct delivery rate for each medication:

• 2.5mg Dextracyclate = 15
• 3mg Hydroxalene = 7
• 11mg Tensobromide = 8

Entering the rates

Once you have the numbers, head to the machines and follow these steps:

1. Press 'set rate' on the infusion equipment.
2. Input the delivery rate matching the medication you're administering.
3. Press 'ready' and move on to the next medication.
4. Repeat until all three medications are ready.

When all three are set, interact with the pump machine to the left of the patient's bed and press 'start'.

What comes next

With the meds flowing, the intimidating Dr. Glenn informs you that you'll need to head down to the basement to fetch equipment for intubating the patient's breathing. Don't panic — your shift playing doctor won't last forever.
